Roundtrip from Santa Cruz de Tenerife

Day 1: Santa Cruz de Tenerife
Embarkation begins at 5pm. Settle into cabins and meet to the crew followed by a welcome cocktail in the lounge/bar before dinner on board. Overnight stop in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

Day 2: Santa Cruz de Tenerife
Buffet breakfast on board. This mountainous island is divided into two parts: a highly urbanized southern coast, with a dry climate and golden beaches, north coast and a more humid and windy, where black sand beaches at the foot of cliffs recall the volcanic origins of the island. Between the two parties stands the highest mountain in all of Spain, the Teide peak, crowned with eternal snow at 3718 m altitude.
Optional guided tour of Puerto de la Cruz - half a day.* A city full of charm. Here you'll find the plaza of El Charco (eighteenth century), Concejil Square, surrounded by stately homes such as Reimers, of Ventoso, Iriarte and the Crux of Roja, the role of the church (XVII century) where the parish, which contains a great artistic heritage, the streets of Las Lonja and the Fort of San Felipe (seventeenth century), the Hermitage of San Telmo, the Church of San Francisco and Park Taoro. We will also visit the Botanical Garden.
Optional guided tour of Teide National Park - half a day.* The system of national parks of the Canary Islands attempts to conserve the ecosystems most characteristic of the Islands. Thus we find in the Teide National Park, the center of the island of Tenerife, a perfect example of the vegetation of the floor above the Canary Islands. With an average altitude of over 2000 m, it is one of the most spectacular examples of volcanic activity worldwide. Created in 1954 for its unique volcanic and organic, it is with its 18 990 hectares the largest national park in the Canary Islands.
Back on board for lunch as the ship sails towards Lanzarote. Afternoon of cruising. Dinner and entertainment on board.

DAY 3: Arrecife (Lanzarote)
Buffet breakfast aboard the ship while arriving in Arrecife. Lanzarote is classified as a Biosphere Reserve and is also known for its volcanic landscape of another world, a result of violent eruptions from the years 1730-1736 and 1824 that have buried cities and fertile valleys in large lava flows. This morning take an optional excursion: visit to the north of the island - half a day.* Departure by bus to the north of the island through the towns of Teguise, once the capital of the island of Los Valles "The valley of 1000 palms' and Maguez where stands the volcano of La Corona. You will arrive soon in the town of Ye, near the viewpoint of Mirador del Rio. From here you will enjoy magnificent views of the islands that form the archipelago of Chinijo. Finally you return to the port through Arrieta, Magu and Guatiza. Return to the ship for lunch.
In the afternoon, optional excursion: Timanfaya National Park half day.*  Departure by coach to the Timanfaya National Park, characterized by an impressive sea of ​​lava to 52 km. Next, you can visit "El Islote of Hilario." There, you can watch some geothermal activity before taking the "Route of the Volcanoes". On the way back, you will cross the area of ​​the Geria, characterized by a spectacular landscape of vineyards carved into a floor covered with volcanic ash. Return to the port of Arrecife where you will board the ship.  Enjoy your lunch as the ship departs towards the Gran Canaria. Sail throughout the night.

DAY 4: Las Palmas (Gran Canaria Island)

Buffet breakfast while cruising. We will reach Gran Canaria in the early morning. The island offers visitors varied landscapes and microclimates, making it one of the most attractive tourist destinations around the world and earned him the name "miniature continent". Every corner of Gran Canaria is full of charm. Indeed, the relief, the trade winds and ocean currents are responsible for their printing characteristics of each site on the island. In the morning, take an optional excursion: the valley of Angostura and the Bandama crater - half a day.*  We start this tour in the port to the Old Town "Vegueta" to visit the house of Christopher Columbus. Starting from this ancient city, we will pass the Cathedral of Las Palmas before starting our journey into the mountains.  We will reach the valley of Agostura, filled with tropical fruit plantations. We pass the picturesque village of Santa Brigida from where we can discover a beautiful view of Las Palmas. After enjoying refreshments in the caves of Artiles we will visit the Crater of Bandama, whichi is about 200 m deep. Finally, we visit the Botanical Gardens before returning to the ship for lunch. In the afternoon, take another optional excursion: Teror Basilica and Gardens Arucas - half a day* or just relax aboard the MS Belle de L'Adriatique.  The excursion will begin as we cross the city of Las Palmas and head out of this town to the north of the island. Stop for one hour in the beautiful gardens of the Duchess (just outside the town of Arucas) to explore this tropical garden before continuing to the center of the city of Arucas to watch and photograph the cathedral of black stone. We will continue our journey through the mountains to the small village of Teror and visit the colonial church, Madonna of the Pine, the patron saint of the island. We will have a little free time in this village. Back on board the ship for dinner. Departure of the cruise to El Hiero. Sail through the night

DAY 5:
Puerto de la Estaca (island of El Hiero) - Santa Cruz de La Palma (La Palma)

  The island of Hiero has been declared a "Natural Reserve of the Biosphere" and is located at the southern end of the western Canary Islands. It is the smallest, but it offers a wide variety of landscapes, from the "lajiares" arid and volcanic formations of the South and West, to the spectacular valley of El Golfo with its vineyards and crops irrigated through the fertile fields of central and northern grasslands of the central plateau, or the orchards of the south.
Enjoy an optional half day tour of Hiero.* We depart the ship and head to the capital Valverde, 700 m high, is the only capital that is not in a seaside town that thrives on its vineyards and fruit farming. We pass by the Mirador de la Penas, exceptional views of the El Golfo valley, and Frontera. Visit a pineapple and banana packing station, then a visit to a cellar where the wine is bottled. You will have the opportunity to taste the wine and cheese from the island. We can visit the Lagartarium (home to lizards and an impressive Ecomuseum).
Return to the ship for lunch and cruise departure towards the island of La Palma. Spend the afternoon sailing towards La Palma, where you will dock this evening. Dinner on board followed by a lively evening. Overnight stop in La Palma.

DAY 6: Santa Cruz de la Palma (La Palma) - San Sebastian (La Gomera)
Enjoy a buffet breakfast on board before leaving the ship and discovering the island.  La Palma is located in the far northwest of the Canaries archipelago, is justly renowned for its lush forests and its extraordinary natural beauty. The greenness of its sides that support a rich flora with the abundance of water, contrasts with the cones of extinct volcanoes and lava flows. A culture rich in tradition (architecture, gastronomy, crafts, folklore, etc..), Some dating back to the first aboriginal inhabitants, adds to the interest of its archaeological and natural resources. Guided optional Volcano and Wine tour will take a half day.*  Departure by bus, our first stop is to visit the church of Our Lady of the snow, then drive to the Mirador de la Conception, with its spectacular views of the city and East Coast. Our route continues via Brena Alta Fuencaliente Mazo up where we visit the Museum of Ceramics "El Molino". Arriving at the San Antonio volcano, we will make a short walk to the edge of the volcano. Our next stop will be the Bogeda Carballo to do some shopping and taste the wine before continuing on to Paso Alto, Brena Baja and return to the ship in Santa Cruz de La Palma. Back on board for lunch and cruise departure towards La Gomera. Spend the afternoon at lesiure onboard the MS Belle de L'Adriatique. We will reach the island of La Gomera in the evening. Dinner on board. Overnight stop.

DAY 7:   San Sebastian (La Gomera) - Santa Cruz de Tenerife 
Buffet breakfast on board. In La Gomera you can disembark on an optional guided tour of the island (half day).* You will discover the typical villages of Hermigua, famous for its forest of "El Cedro" Agulo, anchored in a rocky amphitheater facing the sea. Then we will visit the Garajonay National Park, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO . Finally, you will see the famous palm grove that produces honey. Back on board for lunch and continue sailing to Santa Cruz de Tenerife, where we will dock this evening. Gala dinner followed by dancing. Overnight stop.

DAY 8:   Santa Cruz de Tenerife 

Buffet breakfast on board. Disembarkation at 9am. End
