Hamburg
What a start - come aboard the COLUMBUS 2 in the Port of Hamburg during the Cruise Days and experience the atmospheric bon voyage parade on the River Elbe with cruise ships from all over the world in the evening. Both couples and entire families will inevitably enjoy the fantastic atmosphere on board - and the cheering of the countless spectators ashore who are sure to compliment you on your box seat for watching the fireworks.

List/Sylt/Germany
At lunchtime, the COLUMBUS 2 reaches the "queen of the North Sea", and you have until late that evening to enjoy life on the legendary holiday island. Relaxing on the beach in a wicker sun chair, shopping in Westerland, a sundowner at the well-known Sansibar - what would you like to do? You can also get to know Sylt in a number of different ways with our excursions - for instance as an idyllic island with many facets*. On a walk through Keitum, the secret jewel of the isle exudes a very Frisian atmosphere - with thatched-roof houses, romantic cottage gardens and the ancient Frisian stone walls of the captains' houses. The steep coast of the Morsum cliff located in Schleswig-Holstein's oldest nature reserve, on the other hand, testifies to the elemental forces of glaciers from the Ice Age. "Seeing and being seen" is the name of the game in Kampen, where sophisticated boutiques, cafés and restaurants create a casual-elegant ambiance. In the Bay of Blidsel, you may wish to take off your shoes as you head out for a walk across the mudflats* with an experienced guide. He will show you the creators and inhabitants of this fascinating habitat between land and water - sea shells, crabs and snails. In the mood for another active excursion? On the bicycle tour*, you will get to know the beauties of Sylt at a leisurely pace while cycling past dunes, heath landscapes and thatched-roof houses to Keitum. The last stage of the tour takes takes you as far as the Morsum cliff - a wonderful finale to your excursion. In the evening, an atmospheric on-board party with great entertainment awaits you in all the bars of the COLUMBUS 2.

Wittduen/Amrum/Germany
Today, one of the broadest beaches in Europe invites you ashore - welcome to Amrum! Building sand castles, going for extensive walks - enjoy a relaxing time. You can conveniently discover the island by joining our panoramic trip*. From one of the tallest lighthouses on the North Sea coast, our journey takes us to the vast dune landscape bordering on the approx. 15 km long sandbank Kniepsand - beach as far as the eye can see. The guided walk through the village of Nebel holds some typical Frisian experiences in store for you, and life in Steenodde is unhurried, too. Here, the tumuli from the Bronze Age testify to the island's long settlement history. The little Hallig Hooge - the "queen of the Halligen islands"* offers you plenty of tranquillity and nature. A horse-drawn carriage will take you across the isle, the few houses of which have been built on artificial terpen to protect them from storm tides. The terp Hanswarft accommodates the Königspesel, a Frisian inn dating back to the 18th century that nowadays serves as a small local museum. On the approx. 8 km long hike across the mudflats from Amrum to Foehr*, you will experience the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site Wadden Sea up close. Be in fir a surprise concerning the depth of the water in the "middle hole" - in the tidal inlet approx. 30 minutes away from Amrum, the water sometimes rises to above knee level. Following a little island tour on Foehr and some spare time for you, the ferry will take you back to Wittduen.
