Miami/Florida While the days are getting shorter and shorter at
home, you escape to sunny Miami and enjoy a wonderful time aboard the COLUMBUS 2.
San Juan/Puerto Rico Luxurious hotels, sophisticated casinos and trendy night clubs
fill the smallest island of the Antilles with glamour. You will also discover true gems of the Spanish
colonial era in the historic district of San Juan*. The abundant tropical flora and numerous
bird species in the rainforest El Yunque* already thrilled the former US President Theodore
Roosevelt.
Frederiksted/St. Croix Crystal-clear water and snow-white beaches like Sandy Point
or Rainbow Beach augur unadulterated Caribbean joie de vivre. While snorkelling on Buck Island*,
you will discover the island from the most beautiful perspective - look forward to unforgettable
encounters with rare fish species and sea turtles.
Philipsburg/St. Maarten Simply too beautiful for just one - France and the
Netherlands have split this gorgeous isle up among themselves. Gain interesting insights into the
harmonious coexistence of the two different cultures on the island tour under two flags*. For
instance in Marigot, the capital of the French part. Cosy pavement cafés and charming boutiques make
the little coastal town the second home of savoir-vivre. The America's Cup Regatta* augurs a
thrilling race at sea - together with an experienced skipper, you will go to windward intent on
winning.
Gustavia/Saint Barthélémy St. Barths, as the English call the island, invites you
for a leisurely sailing trip*. Depending on the wind and the weather, you may be cruising off
the secluded bays along the coast, enjoying a swim in the Caribbean Sea or relaxing under the awning.
After gaining an overview of the island*, you will understand why the paradisiacal isle is also
very popular among celebrities from all over the world.
St. John's/Antigua Starting out from the island's capital, the landscape tour* takes
you through colourful villages to Nelson's Dockyard, which was once under the command of the legendary
admiral. Those who join the kayak tour in the mangroves* will paddle through a unique nature
reserve in the northeast of the island and also have the opportunity to swim and snorkel. On the
helicopter flight over Montserrat*, the black beaches of the volcanic island offer a striking
contrast to the bright turquoise of the Caribbean.
Castries/Saint Lucia Fantastic nature and inviting bays make Saint Lucia the "crown
jewel of the Antilles". On the island and catamaran tour*, you will be thrilled by its tropical
rainforests, the sulphur springs and the charming little town of Soufrière - while in the distance, you
can make out the Pitons, the distinctive cones of the twin volcanoes, towering over the green roof of
the jungle. Experience nature at your fingertips on the jeep safari* taking you past thundering
waterfalls and through tropical rainforests to the observation point Morne Fortune.
Bridgetown/Barbados Great Britain has left its mark - on Barbados, the cars drive
on the left-hand side of the road, and the traditional afternoon tea is still greatly appreciated. The
island also presents itself as "very British" on the landscape tour*. In the course of the
catamaran and snorkelling tour*, your soul will be in harmony with the gentle rhythm of the
swell - enjoy a marvellous time both on and beneath the surface of the water.
St. George's/Grenada From the spice island Grenada*, the scent of
full-flavoured nutmegs is blown over the sea and blends with the aromas of ginger, vanilla and
cinnamon. The fragrances of exotic fruit and spices also accompany you on the hike to the Seven
Sisters*. Take a refreshing dip in the natural pool of the famous waterfalls or enjoy a speedy
experience on the Balthazar River - tubing: fun in a rubber wheel*.
La Guaira (Caracas)/Venezuela Take the Caribbean sun with you and look forward to
spending Christmas back at home.
