Nice/France The Mediterranean beckons - the sophisticated seaside
resort wishes you "bon voyage"!
Cartagena/Spain
Discovering Cartagena* is a walk through history - almost every corner reveals a precious
heritage from the time of the Phoenicians, Romans and Carthaginians. Today, the port city presents
itself as a baroque beauty which is ideal for exploring it on foot. The historic district of
Murcia* is also reminiscent of days full of glory and splendour - you will be amazed at the
palaces and churches.
Malaga/Spain On the excursion Granada with visit to the Alhambra*, you will
follow the trails of Moors and Arabs to the magnificent old royal city, which is considered the
highlight of Arab architecture. In Malaga, the city where Picasso was born*, the palm-fringed
coastal boulevard invites you for a stroll. And the sunny atmosphere of Marbella and Puerto
Banus* also augurs a carefree time. Look forward to a leisurely walk along the elegant marina.
Cadiz/Spain Well protected by a defensive wall, the white sea of houses of the
historic district sits on the tip of a promontory. The picturesque alleys encompassed by the blue of
the Atlantic can be admired in their full glory using the "camera obscura" on the Torre Tavira. On the
excursion Arcos and Jerez*, you will discover one of the most beautiful white villages and the
home of fiery Andalusian thoroughbreds. And while Seville* is characterised by a pulsating love
of life, the hike in the La Breña Nature Park* takes you through an almost magical silence.
Lisbon/Portugal The heart of an old seafaring nation beats at the mouth of the
Tejo, and you have one day and one night to feel its rhythm. The walk through the alleys of the
historic district* takes you back to Lisbon's eventful past. In this city, even expressions of
yearning sound more beautiful than anywhere else in the world - a traditional Fado evening*
provides you with the opportunity to see and hear for yourself. Sintra* lies embedded in a
veritable sea of flowers. Since the 15th century, the picturesque little town has been accommodating
the summer residence of the royal family.
La Coruna/Spain The houses of La Coruna sparkle and glisten like a crystal when the
sun is reflected by their glass-enclosed balconies, the so-called "miradores". Discover the magic of
the "glass city" on an individual walk through the alleys of the historic district. The veneration of
James the Apostle made Santiago de Compostela* one of the most significant pilgrimage
destinations of Christianity.
St. Malo/France Between the wonderfully restored houses, in the streets and on the
boulevards, the history of the city is just as alive as the pride of its inhabitants, who have
maintained their independence for several centuries now. From the defensive city walls, you will enjoy
unique views of the historic district, the adjoining beaches and the islands and peninsulas of the bay.
One of them, located further east, is the monastic island Mont Saint Michel* - the monastery and
the surrounding historic district spectacularly tower on a large rock amidst the sea.
Greenwich (London)/England Between the well-kept villas, colourful markets and
small antique shops of Greenwich, time appears to pass more slowly. And yet the entire world still
officially sets its clocks according to the time in this pleasant little town. Another idyllic sight
awaits you in Canterbury* with its timber-framed houses, in the midst of which the mighty
cathedral towers high in the air - a Gothic masterpiece and also the centre of the Anglican church to
the present day. On the panoramic trip through London* past Trafalgar Square, St. James's Park
and Buckingham Palace, you will discover the splendour and glory of the empire. However, the quiet
side of London* is worth a visit, too - in the course of this walk, you will encounter stately
urban villas as well as unusual markets before reaching Little Venice by boat - a small island of
tranquillity with romantic colourful barges.
