Sydney/Australia
While the evening sun bathes the opera house in its golden light, the COLUMBUS 2 sets sail.

Brisbane/Australia
Today, you can gain deep insights into the traditions of Australia's indigenous people on the excursion Brisbane and the Aborigines*. With a little luck, you will encounter the perhaps most famous inhabitants of the "red continent" on the excursion Brisbane and the Lone Pine Sanctuary* - the latter is home to koalas, kangaroos and wallabies.

Fitzalan Anchorage/Hamilton Island
Fascinating experiences - on the boat trip to the Great Barrier Reef*, you can admire the colourful iridescent natural scenario of the largest coral reef on Earth and even gather additional impressions underwater. Discovering Hamilton Island on your own initiative - are you in the mood for a tour with the golf carts frequently used around here? Or some water sports? Perhaps you simply wish to enjoy the sunny hours on the divine beaches.

Cairns/Australia
Skyrail - on the journey with the longest aerial cableway in the world to Kuranda*, you will be gliding no more than a few metres above the treetops of the tropical rainforest. The adventure tour in the crocodile park* also holds exciting moments in store for you - watch the reptiles in their natural habitat.

Alotau/Papua New Guinea
The inhabitants of Alotau give you a warm welcome. The town situated in a picturesque bay can only be reached from the sea and is almost untouched - ideal for going ashore on your own.

Madang/Papua New Guinea
The "pearl of the South Pacific", which you can explore on the city tour*, is characterised by all kinds of different colours and fragrances. The flight to the highlands* takes you to the Asaro Valley, where men with mud masks invoke the numerous spirits with mystic dances.

Lorengau/Papua New Guinea
The largest of the Admiralty Islands almost appears impenetrable - mighty peaks, jagged landscapes and a lush vegetation invite you to discover the pristine countryside on your own initiative.

Yap/Yap Islands
Far away from everyday life, green hilly landscapes, dense mangrove forests and the sparkling turquoise sea give you a foretaste of paradise. Adopt the unhurried lifestyle of the locals and experience one of the most beautiful islands in Micronesia.

Koror/Palau
Not far from the Equator, you will experience the permanently warm climate of the tiny island state. On the excursion Rock Islands and visit to the beach*, you can discover colourful iridescent coral islands. Encounters of a very special kind await you on the excursion Rock Islands and snorkelling in the JellyFish Lake* - swim amidst large, but absolutely non-poisonous jellyfish that exclusively live in this isolated crater lake.

Manila/Philippines
Against the backdrop of the Philippine metropolis, it will be time for you to bid the COLUMBUS 2 farewell.
