Venice/Italy
The COLUMBUS 2 awaits you in the incomparable lagoon city.

Ravenna/Italy
The charming Italian city boasts appealing cafés all around the Piazza del Popolo, and its historic heritage invites you to discover it on your own initiative. Ravenna's mosaics*, the beauty of which you can admire in the Basilica of Sant'Apollinare Nuovo, the Neonian Bapistry or the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, are famous throughout the world. Enchanting mediaeval arcades await you on the excursion to Bologna*. The city also accommodates the oldest European university, former students of which include personalities like Dante and Copernicus. The tour to Comacchio and Pomposa* takes you to the delta landscape of the River Po. Stroll across the Trepponti Bridge dating back to the 17th century and marvel at the floor mosaics in the magnificent monastery Abbazia di Pomposa.

Pula/Croatia
The oldest city in Istria with its combination of Roman monumental buildings, Renaissance palaces, playful art nouveau style and modern architecture has plenty to show you on the guided walk through the city*. Its landmark is the amphitheatre dating back to the time of the Emperor Augustus, which once offered sufficient space for 20,000 spectators. The Brijuni >National Park* is a sanctuary with rare trees, plants and animals - the Mediterranean paradise on the largest island of the archipelago can conveniently be explored with the island railway.

Trogir/Croatia
Until midnight, the COLUMBUS 2 will be lying off the coast of this treasury of history. With the most well-preserved Roman-Gothic ensemble in all of Eastern Europe, Trogir offers impressive territory for individual discoveries as well as a guided walk through the town*. Or would you like to visit Salona and Split*? The former was the capital of the Roman province Dalmatia and is one of the most interesting excavation sites in Croatia. In beautiful Split, the Emperor Diocletian created a retirement retreat which today forms the heart of the city.

Hvar/Croatia
Countless lavender and rosemary bushes, tranquil vineyards and olive groves - the enchanting isle is a Croatian jewel. On the island tour*, you will visit two picturesque fishing villages and sample the local wine. Strolling through the historic district of Hvar is also a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Particularly active guests may wish to join the hike* across the fertile island, with another wine tasting awaiting you at the end.

Dubrovnik/Croatia
The "pearl of the Adriatic" defensively towers on the shore and turns out to be a unique open-air museum on the walk across the city*. As you make your way along sections of the entirely preserved fortification wall and through the historic district, you will see the Franciscan Monastery, the Rector's Palace or the gorgeous cloister of the Dominican Monastery. At the same time, the city will thrill you with its Mediterranean lifestyle as well as elegant shops and cafés, which makes it a popular haunt among the international jet set. Or would you prefer to experience Croatia's untouched nature? Leaving the usual tourist paths, you can explore the valley of Konavle by jeep*.

Valletta/Malta
Experience the COLUMBUS 2 entering the unique natural harbour early in the morning.
