MS Deutschland - Christmas & New Years
Celebrations - Voyage 419-420
Cape Town, South Africa - Mahe, Seychelles -December 6, 2012 - January 6,2013
|
Join the MS Deutschland as she travels between the two oceans. Sail from the cool
waters of the South Atlantic into the tropics and turquoise bays of the Indian Ocean. Join us for
this miracle of nature!
Enjoy one last view of Table Mountain before the MSDeutschland turns south to the
Cape of Good Hope and to Mossel Bay. Aboard this journey you’ll visit Port Elizabeth and Durban.
Take a stroll on the beach front on the Golden Mile or take a refreshing dip in the Indian
Ocean.
Richards Bay is the ideal starting point for visiting the famous Hluhluwe-Umfolozi
National Park with its impressive herds of animals. Ostriches, giraffes and hippos are just some of
the wild stocks that you will experience firsthand.
One of the most beautiful islands in the world is Madagascar, the land of lemurs and
Makis. The MS Deutschland will sail along the south of this mini-continent and will leave you with
unique impressions and memories when you arrive back on board.
Among the pearls of the Indian Ocean are the islands Mangabe and Lakandava who are new ports of
call for the dream ship and are known for their unique flora and fauna.
Celebrate Christmas Eve on board and at sea with an exquisite gala dinner before the
Christmas Day is devoted to the exuberant nature of the island of Madagascar.
The Comoros islands are among the
rarities you will find aboard this cruise. You can see the two most beautiful
islands: Mayotte and Njazidja. Continue
on to Zanzibar a place already associated with exoticism of faraway lands.
Visit the spice island off the coast of Tanzania with its clove and pepper plantations.
Kenya's coastal city of Mombasa is the last stop in Africa before the captain gives the command:
"Cast off" - to Seychelles.
On board
the big New Year's Eve ball rises with many surprises and New Year's fireworks.
The New Year offers three of the most beautiful islands in the world: Mahe, Praslin and La
Digue. Spend time
relaxing on the beautiful beaches of the Indian Ocean.
