This cruise route is the classic MS Deutschland, linking Greece and Italy. A kaleidoscope
of bases: Bari, Taormina, Valletta, Trapani, Lipari and Stromboli. With highlights of Sorrento and
Naples.
After boarding in Piraeus we will enjoy a relaxing day at sea before arriving in Corfu. From here
the MS Deutschland will sail into the Adriatic to our first port town in Italy - Bari. After the
day here to explore we will sail around the Ionian Sea to ports in Sicily with a one
day stopover in Malta. Take time to explore Mdina, the silent city or the picturesque
fishing villages of the south coast.
As part of your cruise you will enjoy a tour to the Sicilian towns of Taormina, Licata,
Trapani and Palermo. Here you will be surrounded by evidence of world cultural heritage and the
relaxed Italian life style.
The volcanoes of southern Italy are referred to as the “ ring of fire” and here in the Aeolian
Islands capital of Lipari, you will see a glimpse of life with the fire giants. One of the
highlights of this trip is the passage of Stromboli - an active volcano.
The wide beaches of Tropea on the Tyrrhenian Sea are ideal for a relaxing beach holiday. The
MS Deutschland will continue to cruise to Sorrento and Naples before it goes to the north to port
in the Eternal City of Rome.

Cruise Terms & Inclusions
The trip prices are calculated based on current fuel
costs. Should we raise the purchase prices payable by more than 10%, we
reserve the right to collect cost-recovery and bunker fuel surcharges.
•All meals on board in different restaurants: breakfast for early risers from the buffet
or served at the restaurant ‘Berlin’, broth in the morning, lunch and eat dinner (choice of buffet, barbecue, set
menu, seven-course gourmet meal), afternoon coffee, cakes and pastries, elegant
afternoon tea, midnight snack. Special requests are gladly considered.
•Board changes daily events and entertainment programs: lectures about country and
people, discussions, readings, film presentations, sporting or creative courses, etc. Galas
and classical concerts in the magnificent IMPERIAL ROOM, swing and dance music in the salon LILI MARLEEN, music
until the wee hours in the OLD FRITZ.
•The captain's welcome and farewell cocktail.
•Use of all onboard facilities in the passenger area: well-stocked library, cinema with a
constantly changing schedule, a gym, Finnish sauna, Roman steam bath, swimming pools, golf facilities (tee-off
area, putting green) etc.
•Detailed travel documents containing information about the countries visited
•Bilingual crew, ship and hotel management, front desk, concierge, cruise director,
cruise office and Hostess
•All guests of the honeymoon and the owner's suite will receive a pre check-in with
personal care by the hotel manager.
