MS Deutschland - Baltic Captials & Tsars Treasures - Voyage 469-

Travemunde, Germany Round trip - May 17-29, 2014 - 13 days/12 nights

The Baltic Sea is a unique cultural space. These include the famous Hanseatic cities, island coasts and picturesque landscapes.  Discover all the beauty this region has to offer aboard this well thought out itinerary.

Through the "Green Gate" you enter the historic Gdansk and the next day you’ll continue on to Memel, Lithuania. Explore the Teutonic Castle of Kuressaare on Saaremaa, still surrounded by canals and lakes, as if time stood still. Only rarely do cruise ships visit here.

One of the new capitals of the European Union, Tallinn, will enchant you with its history, and its beautiful Cathedral Hill with its domes and towers that shine in the sun. This city, located on the Gulf of Finland was the European Capital of Culture and is the prelude to glorious days you’ll spend in St. Petersburg, the Russian capital. The treasures of the Tsars, churches and palaces await you.  One of the most beautiful cities in the world will pull you in with its spell.

Continue sailing onwards to the beautiful Scandinavian cities of Helsinki and Stockholm before you disembark in Travemunde.
