sailing close to Inuit territory, Le Boréal continues her route to the vast
wild expanses of Arctic Canada. Akpatok Island boasts the highest concentration
of neo-Eskimo sites, while the nearby ice floe may offer you a chance to
approach the polar bears. Zodiac outings accompanied by our naturalists will be
your opportunity to explore the village of Kangiqsurjuaq, where fishermen come
on board from their canoes, and the majestic rocks of Walrus Island which
shelter dozens of these impressive sea mammals. |
