Day 11 -Whitby (United Kingdom) A mosaic of muted colours, the isolated
wilderness of the Yorkshire Moors National Park has a very special atmosphere. Pounded by the wind
and waves, sheer cliffs contrast with wide sandy bays and picturesque villages of red-roofed
cottages, where fishermen still ply the trade of their ancestors. A highlight is undoubtedly the
visit to Scarborough to savour the Victorian ambiance of one Britain’s best preserved towns from
that period.
