Day 2 - Bonifacio(Corsica - France)
Perched precariously on a high rocky promontory, Bonifacio occupies a very special place in the Corsican landscape, particularly when viewed from the sea. A fortress city atop white limestone and granite cliffs that have been sculpted by wind and waves, Bonifacio’s historic medieval heart of tall, narrow houses and winding cobblestone streets is protected by an impressive citadel wall embellished with square towers: a beautiful sight.

Day 4 - Amalfi (Italy)
Since time immemorial, artists and travellers have fallen under the spell of these tiny villages lost amidst the orange and olive groves, the vineyards and bougainvillea. Amalfi and nearby Ravello, suspended between sea and sky, are the jewels of the Amalfi Coast. There is so much natural beauty to be admired here, including some magnificent gardens

Day 5 -Palermo (Sicily -Italy)
A crossroads between Eastern and Western civilisations since time immemorial, Palermo (Italy) has been indelibly marked by the diverse cultures which have passed this way. The charm of this city of a thousand contrasts owes much to the atmosphere that prevails. The old town with its historic centre, particularly the magnificent 12th century cathedral, is testimony to a rich past. Not far from here is Monreale with its Benedictine Monastery and a splendid Duomo.

Day 6 - Sailing past the Strait of Messina  - Taormina (Sicily - Italy)
Taormina (Italy) stands out against the slopes of Mount Tauro in the heart of a picturesque and charming location. The town’s alleyways and gardens tumble down the mountain to the Ionian Sea. Its ancient Greek theatre is the second largest in Sicily, after the theatre at Syracuse, and offers a magnificent panorama with the majestic Mount Etna, its lava flows still smoking, in the background.

Day 7 - Syracuse (Sicily - Italy)
Syracuse (Italy) was one of Sicily’s most prestigious cities and at the height of its splendour competed with Athens. Visiting Syracuse is like stepping back in time to plunge oneself into the fabulous history of Sicily. Since its role as a central city of ancient Greece, numerous civilisations have followed one another to these shores, each leaving their mark. Arabs, Romans, Normans, Byzantines and Spanish influences give Syracuse its extraordinarily rich culture, a mosaic of perfumes, colours and flavours.
