Vik/Sognefjord The "king of the fjords" majestically extends from the west
coast until deep into the heart of the country. On its shores, you will be welcomed by Vik*
- a picturesque little town with one of Norway's oldest stave churches. Deep valleys and thundering
waterfalls accompany you through the land of fjords to Flam*, including the spectacular
train ride with the Flam railway.
Molde/Moldefjord The "city of roses" will amaze you with its abundant diversity
of plants. On the Varden hike*, you can explore the scenic surroundings. Via the mountain
road Trollstigen, the landscape tour takes you to Andalsnes*, where an overwhelming view
across the Romsdalsfjord will be revealed to you in the evening.
Trondheim/Norway Norway's former capital shines in all its glory. The mighty
Nidaros Cathedral is the largest mediaeval building in Scandinavia and one of the highlights of
your city tour*.
Leknes/Lofoten On the Lofoten Islands, you will encounter Norway's history and
everyday life at their most beautiful. The lovingly restored idyllic fishing villages with their
colourful wooden facades are scattered amidst the picturesque countryside. In Nusfjord and
Sund*, you will find out how the local life has been shaped by the sea and its treasures - and
you may experience the day-to-day joys of a fisher(wo)man first hand while fishing on the coast
of the Lofoten Islands*.
Skarsvag/Norway If the sky is clear, a virtually uplifting moment awaits you at
the North Cape* on the island of Magerøya - at a height of 307m and a latitude of 71° north,
your gaze wanders across the Arctic Ocean to incredible distances. At the same time, the famous
Globe Sculpture glistens in the light of the midnight sun.
Tromsoe/Norway The lively young metropolis is considered the "gateway to the
Arctic Ocean"* - explore the polar museum, the Arctic Cathedral and the experience centre
Polaria. What role husky sled dogs* play in Norwegian day-to-day life is something you will
find out on the island of Kvaloeya.
Geiranger/Geirangerfjord Discover one of the most impressive miracles of nature
from an unusual perspective - while kayaking on the Geirangerfjord*, you will glide past up
to 1,500 m high rock faces with their picturesque waterfalls such as the "Seven Sisters" or the
"Bridal Veil". You can also experience nature actively on the hike to the Storseter
Waterfall*. A drive along a road with breathtaking hairpin bends takes you to the top of the
Dalsnibba*, where you will be rewarded with fantastic views across the fjord.
Bergen/Norway
Hanseatic Bergen* - between the historic trading offices, you can still soak up the
atmosphere of the old Hanseatic city. At the Bryggen, the former wharf of the Hanseatic merchants,
you will be amazed at the diversity of colours of the lovingly restored wooden kontor
buildings.
Kiel Welcome back to the capital of Schleswig-Holstein!
