What type of clothing should I bring?
Plan a wardrobe to accommodate your destination and comfortable shoes to wear on excursions. Aboard the MS Deutschland the attire is smart casual.  For the Captain’s Gala evening and any other formal evening, as well as inside the “Four Seasons” Restaurant men are encouraged to wear a suit and a a cocktail dress or pant suit for women is requested.

Is there onboard entertainment?
There is a onboard entertainment each evening.  The main show starts around 10:00 or 10:30 pm to ensure that guests who dine during the late seating will be able to make the show.  Once onboard, please check your daily schedule for details.

Are there laundry services available?
Yes, laundry, dry cleaning and ironing services are available and will be billed to your cabin account.

What amenities will I find in my cabin?
All cabins have private facilities with bathtub or shower and WC, telephone and radio, television, on-board video, mini-bar, safe deposit box, and hair dryer.

Is there a doctor on board?
The vessel is equipped with a hospital and a doctor’s infirmary. A doctor is available on all cruises. Fees for services provided by the Ship’s Doctor are to be paid in cash at the time service is rendered.  

What is the onboard Currency?
The currency on board the MS Deutschland is the Euro. Small amounts of other foreign currency can be exchanged at the purser’s desk. For payment, all major credit cards such as American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club are accepted as well as cash (Euro and US$ only) and traveler checks in any European currency or US$. Are Gratuities included?
No, gratuities are not included in the passenger fares. Recommended gratuities of approximately 10 Euros per person per day are encouraged.

What is the smoking policy?
Smoking is not permitted on board the MS Deutschland except on the open decks and in the Old Fritz bar.

Is there a swimming pool?
Yes, there is both an indoor and outdoor pool.
