Ideally situated on a peninsula, the town welcomes visitors to its tiny port and historic centre built in the Venetian style. From here, you can set out to visit the famous Postojna Cave**: explore the cave system with its impressive domed roofs and bizarre limestone sculptures by underground train and on foot.
